"Nothin' much"

Today, I'm writing, typing rather, my first entry here. And seriously, I really don't have much to write about, but I want to have this blog something in it, that's why here it goes... I'm currently with my cousin here at Copy Tech Inc., a computer shop along at Shoe Avenue, and we're both doing our own thing. I just finished reactivating my hotmail account, in case you're interested, it's iceaw33@hotmail.com. I cheked my hi5 and friendster account a while ago and there's nothing much going on with them, too. There's just this person "named" Close-up who has been befriending me for quite a month now and still i haven't accepted him for the reason that I do not know this person. But then, we're having a guessing game of who he is. Later, I'm gonna check a book review on my HRR book A Certain Slant of Light by Cynthia Thayer just to see if I can get some useful infos for our, hopefully, HRR activity. And maybe I'll try to self-google myself (again) just like what our Physics teacher did. Funny.

Ok, tomorrow, it'll be the proposed valentine's party in our (my cousin & I's) org, Disaster Management Team, but we're not quite sure if it's going to push through, since there's no update about it. Whether it'll push through or not we'd still see each other though.

I guess there's nothing more to write about. End.

Day of hearts?

Today is the 14th of February. The so-called day of hearts. People are busy buying flowers, chocolates, cards, etc. for their loved ones. The loved ones I'm talking about here are the ones people call as their SOs (significant other), SS (someone special), or in layman's terms, their boyfriends or girlfriends. You see bouquets of flowers lined-up at the guard's desk at your school's entrance, hoping if any of those are yours. And if you're really not expecting someone to send you one, you kid yourself with your barkada why your bouquet of flowers is "there". Or get silent on your seat because of your "bitterness" just seeing your classmates were suprised (yes, some were really not expecting) by their delivered roses.

But what is Valentine's day all about? It's all about a saint named Valentine who died on this day. The story? I really forgot. I just remembered this from my grade 7 research. I'll just link an article here about him in the future. So what about me? How did I spent this day? Well, for a proud single like me, I just spent it like an ordinary day. I mean, do you really have to celebrate it whether your single or not? Okay, I'm not sounding bitter here, just asking. My friend, Gladys, gave us Hershey's Kisses Chocolates, which, by the way, made me broke my chocolate abstinence for Lent. And on my way home, I bought roses for my mom, which I first time did for V-day. Then, I was supposed to buy also something for my dad, but my budget didn't fit, so I had to delay it, until I wasn't able to buy anything for him. Then, when I arrived home, I secured the roses for my mom and hid it. My mom invited me to go to the mall after taking a nap and so I agreed. I positioned the roses at their bed before we left. At the mall, she shopped for me two blouses for out turnover. (Obviously, I won't wear both :tongue When we arrived home, I went right after to a computer shop, Fun House, at the street next to ours to research for VAT for our English debate. How's that for your V-day? Good thing my friend, Gladys, was online, too.

...to be cont.
